Oglala Lakota County Elementary Renovation, Middle School & CTE High School
The Oglala Lakota County School District is completing an Elementary Renovation, new Middle School, and the first public High School on the Oglala Sioux Reservation. The High School is unique for being a Career Technical Education center that will teach career skills in a culturally appropriate manner. It will empower students with career and technical real-life experience and certifications to immediately enter into the work force. The intent of this high school is to ensure successful, viable long-term careers that will stimulate the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation’s economic growth. The new school facilities will serve kids from across the area with modern tools and learning space.
