Scull Construction was very excited to be involved in creating this unique facility for The South Dakota Game Fish and Parks department. The new Outdoor Campus on the northwest side of Rapid City sits on 40 acres and features a stunning building with indoor exhibits, classroom space available to both GF&P and outside groups, and several meeting areas. A huge freshwater aquarium adorns the south end of the building and is one of many educational features. The outdoor portion of the campus features miles of hiking trails, wetlands’ hardwood and coniferous trees, two ponds, grassy meadows, an archery range and a tree house. Outdoor and classroom activities abound at the facility to promote understanding and exploration of our beautiful natural surroundings.
