Stark County
Fairgrounds

Project Overview

When a new complex was needed for Stark County’s signature event, The Roughrider Days Fair, Rodeo and Expo, Scull Construction was called in to make it happen. What resulted was the Stark County Fairgrounds, an outdoor event center that provides a new rodeo stadium, fairgrounds, and large outdoor space with a steel grandstand that can seat 2,500 people for concerts, rodeos, and other various outdoor events. A 2,240 square foot concessions building was built to accommodate food service and house the restrooms, along with a sturdy and modern press box that features great views of the arena. Adjacent to the facilities, we poured 96,000 square feet of pavement to support parking, vending, attractions, and other events.
